Explore the art of wax sealing through a hands on experience focused on texture, detail, and impression. You will learn how to work with wax, experiment with color, and create seals that feel both intentional and unique. You will leave with your own creations and inspiration to continue.
Materials provided to participants:
Attendees will receive and leave with:
• 1 Wax seal furnace
• 1 Wax seal stamp
• 1 Wax seal spoon
• A selection of wax seal beads
• Handmade wax stirrer
• Paper and envelope
Tools and shared materials (for in-workshop use): • Scissors • Glue tape for wax • Additional stamps • Metallic detailing medium
Your Instructor
Deniz Bagdas
Deniz is a scientist working in the neurobiology and neuropharmacology of pain and addiction, and a scrapbook journal artist. Her creative practice explores layers and textures through pen, ink, paper, and wax sealing. Visit @science.notes and @dayartstore to explore her work.
