In this hands on workshop, participants will design and carve their own custom rubber stamp using traditional relief carving printmaking lino techniques. You will learn how to transfer a design, safely carve using lino tools, and test print your stamp using archival ink. We will discuss positive and negative space, line weight, and how to create a clean, printable image. Each participant will leave with; one finished hand-carved stamp, a personalised envelope stamped with their print, and The knowledge to continue carving at home! No prior experience is necessary. All carving materials, tools, and ink are provided. Perfect for pen lovers, journalers, stationery enthusiasts, and anyone interested in learning about printmaking.
Sharp carving tools used, you will go home with the tools to make more stamps!

Alexandra Ozga
Alexandra Ozga is a ceramic artist, book artist, and educator based in Maryland. She is currently pursuing her BFA in Ceramics and a minor in Book Arts at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where her interdisciplinary practice bridges material research, craft traditions, and environmental inquiry.
